DNS and Cloudflare DNS

DNS translates human-readable names into IP addresses. Cloudflare DNS provides fast, secure resolution and easy management.

Records you’ll use

• A/AAAA: IPv4/IPv6 address records.
• CNAME: Alias to another hostname (e.g., pages.dev subdomain).
• TXT: Text metadata (SPF, verification tokens).
• MX: Mail exchangers for a domain.

Orange-cloud proxy

Enable the proxy to route through Cloudflare’s edge for caching, TLS, WAF, and analytics. Disable for raw DNS only.
